INTENSIVE COURSE
The intensive course come in addition to the General course. This course is mostly based on learning about the French culture and communication, rather than studying grammar.
Intensive course
- 10 lessons per week split over 3 afternoons
- 3 times per week from 14h to 16h30
- Each lesson is 45 minutes long
- Various topics such as gastronomy, culture, customs, history, cinema…
- A mix of classes, workshops, and also some outdoor activities (using the French in real life).
- Themes and topics may be offered to choose from depending on the French level and the number of students.
- Not all topics offered each week.
Themes and topics
- Live French (for example communication workshop, discussion and speaking on various topics including, news, advertising, politics, events…)
- French Gastronomy (for example vocabulary on fruits and vegetables, visit of a market, study of a cooking recipe, a cooking lesson with a French chef…).
- French culture and customs “Art de Vivre à la Française”
- French History
- Cinema and Theatre (for example the Cannes film festival, French on stage, study of a classical French play, writing a film script…).
- Arts and painting
