A COURSE AT ESCAPADE BIARRITZ

We are offering a variety of courses to aim at giving a variety of choices to our students. Our goal is for them to learn French at their own pace and according to their interests

Tuition:

• General course
• Intensive course,
• Private tuition,
• Private Business tuition. 

Teaching staff:

• Our teachers are native speakers, qualified, trained and experienced in teaching French as a foreign language. Our Business French teachers are also trained in the specialy taught.

Classes:

• For General and Intensive FLE classes, there is a maximum of 15 students per class, with an average of 12 students, giving an opportunity for more practice of the language on a daily basis.

Levels:

• We follow the criteria’s of the European Norm, levels A1 to C2.
• Students take a level test with the teachers (written and oral tests) upon arrival in order to be placed in the appropriate class according to their level.

Curriculum:

• Communication is our main goal. After a course at Escapade Biarritz our students will be able within their level to use their knowledge of the French language to understand and speak it.
• Based on the curriculum set by the European Norm, we emphasize our teaching on communication and practice of the language using a variety of support materials so that it becomes real and useful.

Culture:

• Our second main goal is to introduce and teach the French culture to our international students. Biarritz is the heart of the pays Basque, a region with a strong cultural identity that has preserved its tradition and offers a fantastic way of life. Through classes on customs, traditions, geography, history, gastronomy, fashion, painting, literature, local events, sports... students will be able to learn the specificities of France and the differences with their own culture, allowing them to broaden their minds.
